Privacy Policy
This policy covers page visits, tutorial browsing, and download links on v2raydns.com. It explains what access data we process and the limits of browser storage and external download services.
How a client runs on your device and the services it connects to are outside the scope of this site's page-visit data processing.
1. Data We Collect
This is a static content site. We do not offer account registration or ask you to provide an email address. You can read articles and view download links without submitting your name, phone number, or payment information. We do not receive client subscription URLs, server configurations, connection logs, or proxy traffic, and our webpages do not access client settings on your device.
When your browser requests a page, image, or download link, systems that provide network services may log your IP address, request time, page path, response status, and browser identifier. This information is used to deliver content, diagnose access errors, and handle unusual requests. It is not the same as a client's internal runtime logs.
2. Website Analytics and How Data Is Used
We use website analytics to understand page views, traffic sources, device categories, and use of download links. Interactions such as platform selection and link clicks may be counted to improve tutorial structure, check the download flow, and make pages easier to read on narrow screens. Clicking a link does not mean a file was downloaded or software installed.
Analytics data is not used to read subscription content or build profiles of client connections. Processing is limited to site operations and content maintenance. Raw access logs should be retained only as needed for troubleshooting, security maintenance, and necessary analysis; aggregated results may be used to track longer-term trends. We do not guarantee that all services use the same retention period.
3. Cookies and Local Storage
Analytics may use cookies or similar browser identifiers to distinguish browsing sessions. Page features may also use local storage to save essential preferences. Whether data is stored depends on the features currently enabled, analytics settings, and browser restrictions. Local preferences should not contain subscription links, account credentials, or client configurations.
You can view, delete, or restrict this site's cookies and local storage in your browser's site settings. Restrictions may prevent some preferences from being saved and may make analytics incomplete; static page content will remain available. Clearing browser data on your device does not also delete access logs or aggregated statistics already stored on servers.
4. Download Sources and Third-Party Services
We curate download links for v2rayN, v2rayNG, and v2flyNG clients. Files come from releases published by the respective projects or their distribution services; installation packages are not hosted on our pages. After you click a link, the file request may be routed through our download path or redirected to a file distribution address.
The service that provides a file may receive your IP address, request time, browser identifier, and necessary referral information. Its own policy governs how it handles that data. This site's policy does not replace third-party terms and does not cover client connections to servers, subscription providers, or other network services. Check the destination address before opening an external page.
5. Your Choices and Policy Updates
To avoid saving browsing preferences, restrict site storage or clear your browsing history. If you do not want to send a request to a file distribution service, do not click its download link. When reporting access problems, do not share full subscription URLs, access credentials, or screenshots containing personal information. Redact any relevant logs as needed before sharing them.
For questions about using the site or configuring a client, start with the steps and troubleshooting guidance in the configuration guide. We do not collect feedback materials through this page or require you to upload a client configuration to read it.
If there is a material change to the data we collect, how analytics are used, or how downloads are distributed, we will update the relevant terms on this page and revise the month shown at the top. You can find the current policy through the Privacy Policy link in the footer. Any new processing method will be explained when introduced; simply continuing to browse does not replace any required notice.
